Does Gijón Marina have different mooring areas?
Gijón Marina has several docks with different jetties for different sizes of boats. Please do not hesitate to contact us and we will inform you which mooring best suits your boat.
What do the mooring rates include?
Rates include mooring, minimum water and electricity consumption, rubbish collection, port taxes and VAT.

What documentation is required?
Before your boat enters the port, we will ask you for the following documentation:
- Boat owner’s document of identification.
- Boat registration form (Hoja de Asiento).
- Valid boat insurance policy and proof of current insurance payment.
Is there surveillance on the jetties?
There are surveillance cameras throughout the port area.
Can a storage locker be installed on the jetty?
Yes, storage lockers may be installed upon request and in compliance with required locker measurements and materials.
Can the port be accessed by vehicle?
Access is restricted exclusively to authorised vehicles. Unauthorised vehicles may be fined by the port police.
Do you offer any discounts on parking?
The marina has an agreement with Parkia, which offers a special discount to Gijón Marina customers.
Can I park on the breakwater to load/unload my boat?
A maximum of 1 hour is allowed for loading or unloading of boats, subject to prior authorisation which can be requested at our office.
Does Gijón Marina have WiFi?
We offer free WiFi service to all marina customers.
How do I access the jetty?
Access to the jetties is via key cards, which are personal and non-transferable. Two cards are issued for each boat and a 50€ deposit is required.
How do I access the toilets and laundry area?
The toilets and laundry area may be accessed using the same card used to access the jetty.
Can I use the washer and dryer?
The washer and dryer are located in the toilet area of the office building and can be operated using 1€ and 2€ coins. Each service costs 4€ per wash/dry cycle. Detergent and fabric softener are provided.
How do I obtain a Passeport Escales membership card?
Gijón Marina is a member of the Passeport Escales marina network, which offers a maximum of 5 free nights for stopovers at network marinas. You can apply for membership at our office.
